Here you will learn some of the long and fascinating history of the clan, attend a musical 'ceilidh', and meet with clan chief, Iain Nicolson, New South Wales.

This takes place during a special visit by clan members to a dedication ceremony on Scorrybreac, near Portree, on the Hebridean island of Skye. This estate was purchased by the Clan Nicolson Association in 1986, thus regaining territory which the clan were forced to leave over 200 years ago.

Extra footage has been added to the original video and this shows the special gathering in 2004 on Skye and Raasay when Chief Iain Nicolson's ashes were brought from Tasmania to the ancient burial 'isle' on Skye by his son John, now present chief of the clan.

All this and much more, set against the backdrop of the magnificent scenery of the Isle of Skye, so sit back and enjoy an armchair visit to your clan territory in Scotland!

'Lovest thou mountains great,
Peaks to the clouds that soar,
Corrie and fell where eagles dwell,
  And cataracts dash evermore?
Lovest thou green grassy glades,
  By sunshine sweetly kist,
Murmuring waves, and echoing caves?
Then go to the Isle of Mist.'
