This 54-minute video is devoted entirely to Clan Mackenzie and in it you will meet your clan chief, John Mackenzie, 5th Earl of Cromartie, at his home, Castle Leod, by Strathpeffer in the Highlands of Scotland. You will learn something of the history of the clan, and join its members in visits to places of interest with Mackenzie associations including the Brahan Estate, Glen Ord Distillery, Fort George Museum and Culloden Battlefield.

The video also features interviews with Peadair Mackenzie, then President of the Clan Mackenzie Society of Scotland and the UK, including details of the proposed Clan Centre to be built in the Highlands. You will also see the clansfolk who met together in the 1995 Clan Gathering, held at Strathpeffer, and see the pride and emotion they experienced as they marched past their clan chief at Castle Leod. Now includes additional footage from the 2000 Clan Gathering in Scotland.
