A comfortable, isolated retreat, nestled amongst the hills and within minutes of the famous Harris Beaches, Laxdale Cottage lies within its own reserve overlooking Loch Laxdale. Set amongst spectacular scenery, it offers an excellent base for angling, walking, cycling and observing wildlife. This ex-gamekeeper's cottage has a very traditional, cosy feel and has not been modernised, but it has all the usual modern appliances. The accommodation can sleep up to 5 people. Pets are welcome.

Dining area Sun porch 1 double bedroom 1 single long room with low camp ceilings and 3 single beds. This bedroom has a curtain partition so that it can be split into two (i.e. a single and a twin)

The location is shared with a River Watcher's Bothy. Access from the main road is via 1km of unadopted road passable by car. The cottage has a phone and the location has excellent Vodafone coverage (other networks are patchy in the area). The cottage is well fitted with storage heaters and portable electric heaters. The fire is set ready for guests arrival and the tariff includes a bag of coal.
