Valasay

Semi-detached croft house on the island of Great Bernera
off the west coast of Lewis (40 minutes drive from Stornoway).
Recently built overlooking the Kyles of Valasay
(an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean). Peaceful location where
local wildlife includes birds, seals and otters.

The house is situated close to a Marine Special Area for Conservation
and near to a way marked walk leading to the sandy beach at Bosta
(site of an Iron Age settlement).
Ideal location for walking, cycling, birdwatching, sea-kayaking.
Walking holidays and guided tours can be arranged.
Convenient for visiting Calanais, Arnol black house, Carloway broch.
