Where can I see Highland Games?
There are some Games in Scotland in May and September, but most take place June - August:

UK accommodation terminology:
Double room = 1 large bed for 2 people
Twin room = 2 separate single beds
Triple room = beds for 3 people (1 double + 1 single, or 3 singles)
Family room = bedroom for a family (usually at least 1 double bed and at least 1 single bed)
The term "ensuite bedroom" or "ensuite facilities" means that your bathroom (shower and/or bath, plus WC) can be accessed without leaving your bedroom
The term "private bathroom" or "private facilities" means that you will need to leave your bedroom and go into the corridor
to access your bathroom (shower and/or bath, plus WC) and this bathroom is for your use only (not any other guests).

What about Gaelic?

Aurora Borealis / Northern Lights
They peak with the 11-year sunspot cycle so there is currently less activity now.
